RF validation & VNA measurements
Understand how an RF or analog signal path behaves under defined conditions. FusionXVision supports measurement planning, instrument control and characterization, including vector network analyzer measurements and S-parameter analysis.

Where we can help
- Use VNA measurements to examine reflection and transmission, including return loss and insertion loss.
- Characterize spectral behaviour with spectrum analyzers, including harmonics, unwanted signals and noise.
- Use signal generators and repeatable instrument settings to investigate gain, frequency response or other agreed characteristics.
How we approach the work
We agree the frequency range, ports, signal levels and operating state before measuring. Calibration plane, cables, adapters and fixture effects are considered when interpreting the result. Relevant settings and connection details are documented so that follow-up measurements can be compared meaningfully.
What the handover can include
Depending on the assignment, outputs can include measurement plots, exported instrument data, setup notes and an engineering report. Automated acquisition and reporting can be included when repeated measurements are needed. Limits and conclusions remain tied to the agreed test conditions.
A useful starting point
Start with the device or signal-path description, frequency range, connector types, expected signal levels and the question you want the measurements to answer. Include available instruments and any previous results if you have them.
Can S-parameter measurements be automated?
Instrument control and data export can be automated where the instrument interfaces support them. We review the VNA model, connection method, sweep requirements and desired output format before defining the sequence.
